APPLICATION REVIEW (MALL & GAMIFICATION)

This time I will review an application that is commonly used to learn English, especially in reading and listening skills. yup, the name is "Beelinguapp", this application is a social media that can be downloaded by android and ios users. This application is very easy to apply every day, an application for young people who really like stories both in written form and in audio form. in this application provides many interesting stories that certainly will not bore the readers or listeners. This app uses language acquisition neuroscience, the simplest way to gain understanding and develop fluency. Using the parallel text method, we unlocked the brain's natural ability to learn language in context. Development of reading skills here by providing a library here featuring stories and news articles for students at all levels as audio books. Due to the parallel text methodology, learners can challenge themselves by reading more advanced stories. As for listening comprehension itself, many of the stories here are narrated by native speakers to help learners become fully immersed in their target language. Students test their knowledge with a quiz at the end of the story. You can also build vocabulary by learning new words with each story you read. It suggests keywords for each story, and you can easily select words to add to your glossary. Practice and save your new vocabulary with flashcards and more.

If in self-study the teacher can also monitor the results of the quiz after doing some exercises. This application is also very easy to use every day for practice and also as literacy or just to relieve boredom but still in the realm of learning. This application is very easy to use just by downloading the application and you can easily try the features in it. To share can actually only be done by looking at and equalizing the selected level. so it can be monitored easily. You can use this app without paying and after that you can easily use it after registering/login. 

This application can be used as a learning alternative because it can help students understand their abilities by practicing from here. After finishing with all the material, the teacher can provide other material or a review of some stories from this application. And can invite light discussion. or some readings that are aimed at literature. Besides being easy to use, the stories provided are also very diverse and interesting so they don't make students bored easily. However there are some shortcomings in this application which makes some users experience some problems and limitations. just as we know that we are learning a second language, namely English, but the weakness here is that the choice of the first language used is very minimal and even there is no Indonesian language so learning here will be really focused on English and cannot know the meaning in Indonesian. so it is necessary to be accompanied by another translator. so overall as I wrote it can be seen that this application can help develop reading and listening skills in English.
